UPDATED: Car Rolls Into River in Oakmont

A car rolled into the Allegheny River in Oakmont on Friday afternoon.

Oakmont emergency personnel fished a car out of the river near the boat dock at California Avenue—next to the and the .

According to Oakmont police Chief David DiSanti, a motorist had stopped on the boat dock to check it out because he was thinking about buying a jetski. The car, which was parked on the river ramp, was in the wrong gear and rolled into the river when the motorist was outside of it.

"Thankfully no one was hurt," he said.
