Police continue to investigate the death of a man whose body was found floating in the Allegheny River in Verona. Roland Askerneese, 54, was pulled from the river near Outboard Haven Marina in Verona on Friday night around 6:30 p.m. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner has performed an autopsy on the body, but results still are pending (as of Sunday afternoon).
