District Court: Zucco Hears Theft, DUI & Drug Cases

Here are the Feb. 13 district court rulings for Plum-Oakmont.

Plum District Justice Linda Zucco heard the following Plum and Oakmont cases on Feb. 13:

  • Douglas Mark Bryner Jr. 21, of New Kensington waived a preliminary hearing on charges of loitering and prowling at night, conspiracy, 11 counts of criminal attempt and 16 counts of theft from a motor vehicle. Bryner is accused of stealing items from multiple vehicles in the Oakmont area—maryland and Washington avenues; Eighth, Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth streets) from Feb. 19 to Feb. 24, 2012. Oakmont police filed the charges on March 15.
  • Anthony Dolessandro, 30, of Wilmerding waived a preliminary hearing on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, driving with a suspended license, driving without a license, driving on the wrong side of the road, failure to stop at a stop sign, failure to use signals, restrictions on alcoholic beverages, general lighting requirements and failure to wear a seat belt. Plum police filed the charges after a Nov. 17 incident on Center New Texas Road.
  • Wayne Michael King Jr., 30, of Verona was held for court on charges of prohibited acts, driving with a suspended license and improper tires. Oakmont police filed the charges after a Nov. 21 incident on Allegheny River Boulevard.
  • Nicholas Lee Lawson, 34, of New Kensington was held for court on charges of altered, forged or counterfeit documents; obstructed windshield; improper tires; operating a vehicle without valid inspection; and violation of use of certificate of inspection. Oakmont police filed the charges after a Nov. 27 incident on Allegheny River Boulevard.
