District Court: Zucco & HRomyak Hear DUI Cases

Here are some local court cases.

The following cases were heard by local district magistrates.

Penn Hills District Justice Leonard HRomyak heard the following case on March 18:

  • Lauren Smith, 27, of Verona waived a preliminary hearing on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, reckless driving, accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle and immediate notice of accident to police. Verona police filed the charges after a Jan. 12 incident.

  • John David Kuglmaier, 34, of Plum waived a preliminary hearing on charges of aggravated assault while driving under the influence, driving on the wrong side of the road, reckless driving and three counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. Plum police filed the charges after an Oct. 27, 2012, accident on Logans Ferry Road.
  • Mitchell Patrick Stewart, 20, of Plum waived a preliminary hearing on charges of purchasing alcohol as a minor, speeding, minor prohibited to drive with alcohol in their system and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. Plum police filed the charges after a Jan. 2 incident on New Texas Road.
  • Daniel J. Rizzo, 27, of Etna waived a preliminary hearing on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. Plum police filed the charges after a Dec. 12, 2012, incident on Unity Center Road.
  • Nicole Tricia Delsignorr, 38, of Penn Hills waived a preliminary hearing on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. Plum police filed the charges after a Jan. 13 incident on Clements Road.
