Former Plum High School Student Arrested After Incident at Oblock/Adlai Campus

A 20-year-old, whose name has not been released is being held at Allegheny County Jail.

A former student is being accused of waving a pellet gun on school district property on Tuesday.

According to an email sent by Plum Borough School District administration, the former student allegedly brandished a pellet gun in front of two teenagers at the /campus.

The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. arrested the suspect and he currently is in custody at the Allegheny County Jail.

Plum police Chief Frank Monaco said the suspect is 20 years old, charges are pending and his identity has not been released yet.

The incident occurred during non-school hours at a time when the property was open to the public. All schools are open and operating on a normal schedule.
