How Many Calls Have Plum Fire Companies Responded To?

The Plum Borough Fire Chiefs Association has released a list of fire calls for the first quarter of 2013.

All four fire departments—Unity, Holiday Park, Renton and Logans Ferry—have responded to a total of 578 calls. See how they all break down in the attached chart.

Unity VFD President Ira Helfer said only 25 percent of all residents have responded to solicitation letters for donations. He said he encourages all residents to help out their local volunteer department.
