Judge Zucco Hears Plum DUI Cases

Here's a look at last week's court cases.

Plum District Judge Linda Zucco heard the following cases on April 17:

  • Justin L. Engster, 36, of Rosina St., Greenock, PA, waived a preliminary hearing on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, failing to drive on the right side of the road, careless driving, not using headlights and operating a vehicle without an official certificate. Plum police filed the charged after a Feb. 16 traffic stop on Unity Center Road.
  • Bryan Louis Johnson Jr., 34, of Wilkinsburg waived a preliminary hearing on charges of receiving stolen property, fleeing or attempting to elude police officers, driving with a suspended license, driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, unauthorized transfer or use of registration, driving without a license, not obeying stop or yield signs, and failing to drive at a safe speed. Plum police filed the charges after an April 20 accident on Route 380.
