Man Accused of Robbing Plum Pizza Shop

A Penn Hills resident is accused of robbing a Plum pizza shop earlier this month.

Plum police have charged Kristopher Michael Lott, 19, with robbery and theft. According to police, Lott stole $378 from the cashier at Franco's Pizza on Unity Center Road on July 6. A delivery driver told police he recognized Lott from high school, and surveillance cameras caught him in the act.

On Wednesday, Lott waived a preliminary hearing on both charges before Plum District Judge Linda Zucco. A formal arraignment in county common pleas court has been scheduled for Sept. 3.

The following incidents also were reported to Plum police:

Burglary

A Logans Ferry Road resident reported a burglary on July 2. Money, change and dollar bill certificates were missing.

Theft

A chop saw was reported stolen from a truck on Boyce Park Drive on June 27.

The theft of scrap metal was reported on Davidson Road on July 7.

A GPS, sunglasses, calculator, car manual and cards were reported stolen from a vehicle on Plum Avenue on July 14.

A silver-plated sugar bowl was stolen from the Oakmont Country Club on July 13.

Criminal Mischief

A mailbox on Aberdeen Drive was knocked over on July 12.
