Man Charged after Oakmont Burglaries

A man has been charged in relation to three burglaries in Oakmont that occurred this month.

Allegheny County police have arrested and charged a man in relation to three this month.

Jordan Dixon, 21, has been charged with carrying a firearm without a license, three counts of receiving stolen property, three counts of prohibited acts, three counts of criminal trespass, three counts of theft and three counts of burglary. Chief David DiSanti said Dixon's last known address was in Verona.

DiSanti said police conducted an extensive investigation, including using surveillance, before arresting Dixon. DiSanti said police continue to look at other suspects in the matter.

"We were working around the clock," he said. "We still ask residents to be vigilent and report suspicious activity."

Dixon will have a preliminary hearing before district magistrate David Sosovicka on Monday, Nov. 7, at 9:45 a.m.
