Oakmont Police Reports: Assault, Shattered Car Windows, Theft & More

Here are the Oakmont police reports for Oct. 24 to Nov. 6.

The following incidents were reported to Oakmont police. Information was obtained from police reports and call logs.

Simple Assault

Nikki Mae Srdich, 21, of Verona was charged with two counts of simple assault after a Nov. 2 incident on Potomac Street.

Matthew Takacs, 24, of Bellevue was charged with simple assault and harassment; and David Kennedy, 28, of Oakmont was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment after an Oct. 27 incident on Fourth Street.

Recklessly Endangering Another Person

Brandi M. Scafuri, 27, of Oakmont was charged with recklessly endangering another person, duties at a stop sign, careless driving and reckless driving after an Oct. 27 incident on Washington Avenue in which police saw a male on the hood of a moving vehicle.

Criminal Mischief

Two Oakmont residents reported the rear windows of their vehicles had been shattered. The first incident occurred on Fifth Street on Nov. 3. The second was reported on Tenth Street on Nov. 4.

A Cottage Lane resident reported criminal mischief to a vehicle on New London Lane on Nov. 5.

Theft

A Fifth Street resident reported the theft of a laptop on Nov. 6.

A Tenth Street resident reported the theft of two steel ladders on Nov. 5.

A Natrona Heights resident reported a stolen cellphone from an Allegheny Avenue business on Nov. 1.
