Oakmont Police Reports: Feb. 17 to Feb. 23

The following incidents were reported to the Oakmont Police Department. Information was obtained from police reports and call logs.

Update

Police continue to investigate an that occurred on the 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue on Jan. 31.

Some neighbors have voiced concern, but Oakmont police Chief David DiSanti said the victim and home were "specifically targeted" due to drug-related activity.

DiSanti said the victim initially reported a strong-armed robbery on the street. Further interviews indicated that was a lie.

"It was a drug rip," he said.

Criminal Mischief

A resident of the 600 block of Tenth Street reported criminal mischief to a vehicle.

A resident of the 700 block of Sixth Street reported that an egg had been smashed on the passenger side of his car on Feb. 18.
