Oakmont Police Reports: July 13 to 19

Incidents reported to Oakmont police.

The following incidents were reported to the Oakmont Police Department. Information was obtained from police reports and call logs.

Theft

Christine Schafer, 46, of Oakmont, was charged with access device fraud on July 15 after being accused of stealing $2,175 from her employer.

A 1998 forest green Mercedes Benz was reported stolen from the 700 block of Allegheny River Boulevard on July 19.

A College Avenue resident reported the theft of a radio from an outside table on July 16.

July 18 Storm Incidents

The basement of the Oakmont Carnegie Library flooded.

A car was stuck at the intersection of Third Street and Washington Avenue due to flooding.

A wire was down at Sixth and Plum streets.

A storm grate came off on Greenwich Court.

A manhole cover came off on Allegheny Avenue.

Criminal Mischief

An Elm Way resident reported multiple vehicle windows smashed on July 14.

Zachary Richard Meising, 18, of Oakmont, was charged with disorderly conduct, loitering and prowling at night and criminal mischief after an incident on July 14.

Attempted Burglary

An attempted burglary was reported on Greenwich Court on July 15.
