Oakmont Police Reports: Public Drunkenness, Criminal Mischief & More

The following incidents were reported to the Oakmont Police Department. Information was obtained from police reports and call logs.

Public Drunkenness

Oakmont police encountered a resident who was intoxicated on July 29. According to the police report, the man was riding a bicycle, fell off and hit his face. Charges have not been formally filed.

Assault

Arlen James Tarasi, 27, of Oakmont was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct after a July 31 incident on Dogwood Court.

James R. Cleary, 36, of Oakmont was charged with simple assault and harassment after a July 26 incident on Virginia Avenue.

Trespassing

Management at the Oaks Theater along Allegheny River Boulevard reported that two juveniles had tried to climb on the building's roof and ran away on July 31.

Criminal Mischief

Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported on the 500 block of Sixth Street on July 28.

A planter at the Oakmont Bakery was reported damaged on July 29.

A resident of the 500-block of Seventh Street reported that her vehicle's tires had been deflated on July 26.
