Oakmont Police Reports: Robbery Assist, Hit-and-Run & More

Here are the Oakmont police reports for Aug. 1 to Aug. 14.

The following incidents were reported to the . Information was obtained from police reports and call logs.

Robbery Assist

Oakmont police assisted the Verona Police Department on Aug. 13 after it was reported that someone had robbed the Verona McDonald's along Allegheny River Boulevard. According to police, the suspect, a black male wearing a ski mask, fled toward the railroad tracks. Police could not find him.

Assault

Tyler Henderson, 22, of Monroeville, was charged with simple assault and burglary after an Aug. 1 incident on Eighth Street.

Hit-and-Run

A vehicle/pedestrian hit-and-run was reported on the 500 block of Allegheny River Boulevard on Aug. 14. According to police, an Oakmont resident was hit at a light, low speed and there were no injuries.

A hit-and-run accident was reported on Archie Street on Aug. 14.

A hit-and-run was reported on Library Place on Aug. 13.

A hit-and-run was reported on the 700 block of Cedar Way on Aug. 10.

A hit-and-run was reported on the 800 block of Allegheny River Boulevard on Aug. 3.

Criminal Mischief

An Allegheny River Boulevard resident reported four people pushing vehicle mirrors along the 700 block on Aug. 10. The resident's car mirror was broken.

A Sixth Street resident reported criminal mischief to a car mirror on Aug. 6.

A Crystal Drive resident reported a car window was broken on Aug. 3.

A broken rear window was reported at the vacant Shell gas station along Allegheny Avenue on Aug. 3.

Theft

Michael Browell, 29, of Verona, was charged with theft after an Aug. 5 incident at Golden Living Center.

A Delaware Avenue resident reported a theft on Aug. 6.

A Crystal Drive resident reported a stolen paycheck from a mailbox on Aug. 2.
