Oakmont Police Reports: Student Takes Knife to School

Here are the Oakmont police reports for Feb. 14 to 19.

The following incidents were reported to the Oakmont Police Department. Information was obtained from police reports and call logs.

Student Takes Knife to School

A 12-year-old is facing juvenile charges after taking a knife to Riverview High School on Tuesday, Feb. 19. Police Chief David DiSanti said school administrators found the knife on the student and reported the incident to police. No one was hurt. The student will be charged with taking a weapon to school.

Suspicious Activity

A Greenwich Court resident reported that someone left a plastic bag with sex toys on their front porch on Feb. 19.

A male reportedly was seen on the 400 block of Allegheny River Boulevard trying to open the doors to local businesses on Feb. 14. He was gone when police went to investigate the situation.
