Oakmont Woman Identified as Last Flood Victim

Mary Saflin of Oakmont was pronounced dead this afternoon after searchers found her body.

A fourth and final victim of the flash flooding on Washington Boulevard Friday evening was identified as an Oakmont woman this afternoon.

Mary Saflin, 72, of Oakmont, was pronounced dead Saturday afternoon after searchers found her body along the shore of the Allegheny River, according to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.

Water rose up to nine feet on Washington Boulevard near Allegheny River Boulevard due to several rain storms. She had been unaccounted for after yesterday's flood.
