Penn Hills Man Accused of Stealing from Cars in Verona

Here are the Verona police reports from February through March 13.

A man has been charged with theft after being accused of stealing from vehicles in Verona.

Verona police have charged Brandon Noel, 26, of Penn Hills with receiving stolen property.

According to police Chief Ron McLemore, police received five complaints of thefts from motor vehicles on Feb. 27. All vehicles were unlocked, and Noel is accused of stealing items such as eyeglasses and GPS overnight.

Noel was arrested on March 13 and currently is being held at the Allegheny County Jail.

McLemore asks that all residents lock their vehicles and report any suspicious activity to police.

The following charges also were filed by Verona Police in HRomyak's office:

  • Rick John Spurling, 28, of Verona was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, reckless driving and two counts of prohibited acts on Feb. 8.
  • Ricardo J. Vantine, 68, of Verona was charged with accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle, driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and reckless driving on Feb. 4.
  • Kevin Patrick Hanlon, 47, of Verona was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, registration and certificate of title required, suspension of registration, surrender of registration, required financial responsibility, reckless driving, and three counts of accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property on Feb. 2.
  • Ronald G. Krenke, 53, of Verona was charged with fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, recklessly endangering another person, false reports to law enforcement, driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, driving with a suspended or revoked license, reckless driving and four traffic violations on Feb. 23.
  • Tina L. Finif, 48, of Verona was charged with receiving stolen property and conspiracy on Feb. 18.
  • Patricia Demarco, 50, of Verona was charged with theft and conspiracy on Feb. 18.
  • Greg Pasqualino, 31, of Penn Hills was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct on Feb. 16.
