Plum Man Crashes Car Into Gas Station in Westmoreland County

David Cass, 23, faces several charges in relation to the Tuesday incident.

A Plum man is facing several charges after being accused of crashing his car into a Westmoreland County convenience store on Tuesday.

David Dwayne Cass Jr., 23, has been charged with burglary, criminal mischief, recklessly endangering another person and two counts of aggravated assault. Washington Township police filed the charges.

According to WTAE, police accuse Cass of crashing his vehicle into a Fueland convenience store at a BP gas station along Route 380 in Washington Township. Cass allegedly then entered the business and assaulted his 21-year-old estranged girlfriend.

A preliminary hearing before District Justice Jason Buczak has been scheduled for April 15 at 3:30 p.m.
