Plum Man Sentenced to Prison for Child Porn

A Plum man has been sentenced in federal court to a little more than 2 years in prison for possession of child pornography.

A Plum man has been sentenced in federal court to a little more than 2 years in prison for possession of child pornography.

U.S. District Judge David S. Cercone imposed the sentence on James RobertGilmore Jr., 27, of Leechburg Road. 

His prison term will be followed by 10 years of supervised release.
According to a press release from U.S. Attorney David J. Hickton,

Gilmore possessed child pornography on his computer in April 2012. 

Assistant U.S. Attorney Jessica Lieber Smolar prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.

The FBI, PA state police and Allegheny County police led the investigation.
