Plum Police Investigate Damage to Vehicles at Larry Mills Park

Here are the Plum police reports for June 19 to June 26.

Plum police officers are investigating criminal mischief incidents at .

On June 20, an electrician who is working at the park told police he had his left his truck parked overnight. When he came back, he found that both front headlights, the turn signal light, the passenger side mirror, and window had been broken.

A borough public works employee also reported smashed windows on a borough backhoe.

When police were on scene, they noticed a portable toilet had been turned over, but there was no damage.

occurred at the park playground on June 12 and June 14, when the windows of two parked trucks were shattered.

The following incidents were reported to the Plum Police Department. Information was obtained from police reports and call logs.

Criminal Mischief

A Pebble Stone Court resident reported criminal mischief on June 19. According to the police report, someone threw a house brick at the residence's front garage door.

Theft

Pebble Drive resident reported the theft of an iPod and cellphone from her car on June 22.

A contractor from North Huntingdon who was doing pipeline work on Route 909 reported the theft of a 248 Caterpillar Skid Loader on June 23. A Kerr Road resident found the skid loader in a wooded area near his home.

Fraud

A Leechburg Road resident reported receiving three counterfeit postal money orders in the amount of $2,970 on June 22.

Driving Violations

Sean Michael Calvin, 29, of Penn, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, careless driving and driving on the wrong side of the road after a June 17 accident on Saltsburg Road.

Brandon Matthew Cessna, 22, of Plum, was charged with recklessly endangering another person, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, driving with a suspended license and operating a vehicle without a certificate after a Feb. 28 traffic stop on Unity Center Road.
