Plum Police Investigate Home Invasion, Burglaries

Here are the Plum police reports for June 4 to 10.

Plum police are investigating a home invasion that occurred on Regency Drive last month.

On May 29, police were called to the home after a woman reported that someone broke in and choked her with earbuds. Nothing was reported missing from the home, but the woman said the man who entered mugged her in Penn Hills sometime last month. She was unable to provide a description to police.

The following incidents also were reported to the Plum Police Department:

Burglary

A burglary was reported on Greensburg Road. A fridge and a collectible Barbie doll were reported stolen. A window was broken in the home's back bedroom sometime between May 11 and May 29.

DUI

Mariah Nicole Connolly, 21, of Monroeville, was charged with driving in the wrong lane, careless driving and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after a May 27 traffic stop on New Texas Road.

Kevin Patrick Green,22, of Plum, was charged with driving too slow and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after a May 19 incident on Eighmy Road.

Kathleen Ann Cannon, 23, of Monroeville, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, driving on the wrong side of the road, driving in the wrong lane, driving too slow and texting and driving after a May 17 incident on Center Road.

Theft

A Jane Street resident reported that someone broke a garage door lock and stole a bike between May 22 and May 27.

A former employee of Bob's Sunoco is accused of taking more than $3,000 from the business between March 15 and May 14. Charges have not been filed.

Handtools and keys were stolen from a vehicle on Perry Road on June 9.

Criminal Mischief

Kristopher Restieri, 19, of Plum, was charged with simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief after a June 10 incident on Old Leechburg Road.

A Skyline Drive resident reported that someone ripped off a plastic mailbox and threw it through the rear window of their vehicle on June 8.

Assault

William Wilson Wise III, 36, of Plum, was charged with simple assault, endangering the welfare of children and two counts of harassment after a May 26 incident on Deborah Jane Drive.

Hit and Run

A hit and run was reported on Route 286 on June 9.
