Plum Police Patrol Holiday Park for Speeders

Signs placed on Logans Ferry Road by residents concerned about speeding have prompted police to step up enforcement efforts.

Plum police are cracking down on speeders along Logans Ferry Road this week.

Earlier this month, WTAE-TV reported that some neighbors on the street through Holiday Park street posted signs in an effort to get drivers to stop speeding by posting signs that say: "Hit my kid or dog because you're speeding, you won't need a lawyer. Speed limit 25."

One resident told WTAE that some drivers go as fast as 40 or 45 mph on Logans Ferry, which is often used as a cut-through to get around Route 286.
