Plum Police Reports: Drug Charges, Criminal Mischief & More

Here are the Plum police reports for Aug. 21 to Aug. 27.

The following incidents were reported to the Plum Police Department. Information was obtained from call logs and police reports.

Prohibited Acts

Mario Anthony Giannotti, 22, of Penn Hills was charged with carrying a firearm without a license, prohibited use of hearing impairment device and two counts of prohibited acts after an Aug. 20 incident on Pierson Run Road. According to police, Giannotti was driving his vehicle while wearing headphones, and police found a gun and suspected marijuana/drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

Cheyenne Cara Hurley, 18, of Plum was charged with two counts of prohibited acts and two traffic violations after an Aug. 24 incident on Saltsburg Road.

Criminal Mischief

A Sardis Road resident reported damage to the windshield of a vehicle on Aug. 23.

A Douglas Fir Drive resident reported that the drivers side mirror of a vehicle had been ripped off on Aug. 24.

A Green Haven Court resident reported that the screen was removed from the home's rear window on Aug. 25.

A Unity Center Road resident reported damage to the windshield of a truck on Aug. 26. The truck's inspection and emission stickers were stolen.

The main sign at Plumline Nursery along Logans Ferry Road was spray painted on Aug. 26. The words "Sang" and "SA10" were painted on.
