Plum Police Reports: Drugs, DUI, Furnace Malfunction

Here are the Plum police reports for March 19 to 26.

The following incidents were reported to the Plum Police Department. Information was obtained from police reports and call logs.

Prohibited Acts

Antoinette Guastaferro, 43, of Penn Hills was charged with prohibited acts, driving with a suspended or revoked license, and speeding after a March 8 traffic stop on Unity Center Road.

DUI

Andrew Jeffrey Roberts, 29, of Plum was charged with careless driving and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after a March 16 traffic stop on Old Frankstown Road.

Firearm

Djamil Nadee Tinsley Jr., 22, of Arnold was charged with two counts of carrying a firearm without a license after a Feb. 25 traffic stop on Milltown Road.

Furnace Malfunction

Police and fire personnel were called to the 3200 block of Universal Road on March 21 for a furnace malfunction. According to police, a home's furnace blew up, creating heavy smoke. Two residents—including one who was confined to a wheelchair—were not injured.
