Plum Police Reports: Robbery, DUI, Assault

Here's a look at the Plum police reports for Jan. 22 to Jan. 28.

The following incidents were reported to the Plum Police Department. Information was obtained police reports and call logs.

Robbery

An armed robbery occurred at the Sheetz on Route 286 early Tuesday morning. Police Chief Frank Monaco said the incident occurred at 3 a.m. and no one was hurt. The store was closed off during the day, according to readers.

DUI

Marija Elizabeth Freedline, 24, of Pittsburgh was charged with drivers required to be licensed, driving on the wrong side of the road, failure to stop at a stop sign, careless driving and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after a Jan. 6 incident on Center Road.

Katie Lynn Wright, 36, of Plum was charged with careless driving, driving on the wrong side of the road and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after a Jan. 8 incident on Route 286.

Douglas Robert Currie, 48, of Plum was charged with drivers required to be licensed, driving on the wrong side of the road, careless driving and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol after a Jan. 9 incident on Davidson Road.

Melissa Maria Patalsky, 26, of Turtle Creek was charged with speeding and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after a Jan. 20 accident on Old Leechburg Road.

Assault

Mycah Lashaun Potts, 19, of Plum was charged with theft, two counts of simple assault and two counts of harassment after a Jan. 17 incident at Kellywood Manor.

Fraud

A Ramparts Boulevard resident reported $772 worth of unauthorized purchases on a credit card on Jan. 8.

Criminal Mischief

A Rampart Boulevard resident reported a 6-inch hole on the rear left corner of a car on Jan. 22.

A Dinwiddie Drive resident reported a bullet had hit a gutter on Jan. 15.

Theft

A Garlow Boulevard resident reported the theft of three rings—valued at $1,500—on Jan. 16.
