Plum Police Reports: Jan. 31 to Feb. 6

Incidents reported to Plum police.

The following incidents were reported to the Plum Police Department. Information was obtained from police reports and call logs.

Burglary

A burglary was reported at the Plum Aqua Swim Club on Feb. 3. Key locks were removed from the men's bathroom and shower room, and copper brass pipes were reported stolen. Four urinals, four sinks, soap dispensers and plastic pipes were left on the ground. A pipe cutter was left behind at the scene.

Theft

Several items were reported stolen from the bed of a truck that was parked at the Super 8 Motel on Route  286 on Jan. 31. Wrenches, a tool box and a trash pump were taken.

A Route 286 business owner reported the theft of a spare tire, two exercise machines, three wheel dollies, four containers of science books and tools on Jan. 31.

Simple Assault

Shawn Karcher Jr., 20, of Apollo, was charged with simple assault and harassment after a Feb. 4 incident on Hemphill Hollow Drive.

Anthony Vito Geraci, 36, of Plum, was charged with simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment after a Feb. 3 incident on Universal Road.

Criminal Mischief

A Pikeview Drive resident reported on Jan. 31 that someone tried to gain access to their residence by attempting to open the back screen door. No access was made and the suspect left.
