A home on Jackson Road has been condemned after a tree fell on it Wednesday night.

Ira Helfer, president of the Unity Volunteer Fire Department, said firefighters were called to the Jackson Road home just after 11 p.m.

Helfer said an old, large tree fell on the house. He said he isn't sure if the tree's age or the weather caused it to fall.
