Preliminary Hearing Continued for Oakmont Woman Charged with Rape

A hearing set for Monday morning has been rescheduled for July 25.

The preliminary hearing of Oakmont woman facing several charges after being accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy has been continued until July 25.

Nattale Turner's preliminary hearing in Pittsburgh Municipal Court initially had been scheduled for today, Monday, at 9:45 a.m. Her hearing now is at the same time next week.

Turner, 34, has been charged with statutory sexual assault, rape, selling or furnishing liquor to a minor, indecent exposure, endangering the welfare of children, corruption of minors, two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and two counts of indecent assault. Allegheny County police filed the charges.

She is accused of intoxicating the 14-year-old and engaging in sexual acts with him while they were drunk.

Turner is being held at Allegheny County Jail. Her bail is $50,000. She had not posted bail but was scheduled to be released today, as of 11:30 a.m.
