Shots Fired Near Boyce Park Wave Pool Friday

For the third year in a row, shots have been fired at or near the Boyce Park Wave Pool in Monroeville (near the Plum border).

According to KDKA, Allegheny County police said no one was hurt after shots were fired at a car near the pool's entrance, which is a half-mile from the pool itself.

several local police departments responded to the pool in June after multiple shots were fired during a fight in the parking lot. In June 2010, there also was an incident involving two gunmen at the parking lot outside the wave pool, in which an 18-year-old was charged.
