Three Men Involved in Armed Robbery Ring Charged for Plum Incidents

Three men have been charged for robbing various business locations in Allegheny, Westmoreland and Indiana counties.

Charges have been filed against three men who have been involved in an armed robbery ring since November 2011.

Keith Lamont Fields, 22, of East Liberty; Louis Angelo Rice, 24, of East Liberty; and Gerald Howard Davis, 22, of Monroeville, each face several counts of terroristic threats, theft, receiving stolen property, aggravated assault, robbery, recklessly engangering another person, discharging a firearm into an occupied building and carrying a firearm without a license after being accused of robbing 13 business locations in Allegheny, Westmoreland and Indiana counties from November 2011 to March 2012.

A November on Saltsburg Road and a on Golden Mile Highway in Plum are among the incidents the trio is being charged for.

Fields, Rice and Davis all have been charged in connection to the robbery at the Burger King. Fields and Davis were charged in connection to the Plum Convenience Store incident.

Rice was caught by police on March 4 while attempting to rob a McDonald's in Shaler Township. According to state police, subsequent investigation by state and Monroeville police led to the arrests of Fields and Davis.

All three currently are being held at the Allegheny County jail without bond. Preliminary hearings have been scheduled for April 26 before Shaler District Justice Robert P. Dzvonick.
