Two Men Charged After Fighting with a Gun, Brass Knuckles in Oakmont

Two men face charges after a Nov. 8 fight.

Two Oakmont men face assault and weapon charges after fighting over a girl on Tuesday.

Jonathan James Linn, 24, of Fox Chapel, was charged with aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, prohibited offensive weapon, harassment and public drunkeness. Johnny William Boswell, 26, of Oakmont, was charged with terroristic threats, harassment, disorderly conduct, aggravated assault and simple assault.

were dispatched to the 500 block of Allegheny Avenue after a passing motorist witnessed two men fighting outside. One man is said to have pulled out a gun.

Police Chief David DiSanti said when police arrived, they didn't see anything. Police were called a short time later to View Street, where the fight between Linn and Boswell continued. A gun and brass knuckles were involved.

Preliminary hearings before district magistrate David Sosovicka will be held Nov. 14 at 10 a.m.
