Wanted Man Arrested in Verona, Indicted by Grand Jury

Frank Perez, Jr., was indicted Thursday by a federal grand jury in Pittsburgh.

United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced Thursday that a Verona man was indicted by a federal grand jury in Pittsburgh. The charges against Frank Perez, Jr., 31, of Center Avenue, included assaulting federal officers and violations of federal firearm laws. 

According to the indictment, Perez forcibly assaulted, resisted, opposed, impeded and interfered with Special Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, through the use of three firearms, while the agents were engaged in their official duties. 

Perez could face a total sentence of not less than 10 years and up to life in prison, a $250,000 fine, or both.
