Wilkinsburg Man Charged After Police Chase in Plum

Here are the Plum police reports for April 30 to May 7.

A Wilkinsburg man is facing several charges after leading police on a car chase that ended with an accident.

Plum police have charged Bryan Louis Johnson Jr., 35, with receiving stolen property, fleeing or attempting to elude police, driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, unauthorized use of registration, driving with a suspended license, speeding and four stop sign violations.

According to the police report, officers attempted to make a traffic stop on Saltsburg Road when Johnson, the driver of the vehicle, took off. He led police on a chase to the Route 380 exit ramp to Mamont. Johnson failed to navigate a bend, hit the guiderail and his vehicle flipped. He then is accused of attempting to flee on foot.

The car Johnson was driving also was reported stolen.

Disorderly Conduct

Calvin Ras Wilson, 53, of Plum was charged with terroristic threats, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct after an April 20 incident at Kellywood Manor.

Drugs

Walter Matthew Leonard, 37, of New Kensington was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, prohibited acts and display of certificate of inspection after an April 21 traffic stop on Greensburg Road.

Altered Documents

Kyle Donald Tessmer, 25, of Penn Hills was charged with driving with a suspended license, general lighting requirements, operating a vehicle without official certificate, prohibition on expenditures for emission inspection and two counts of altered, forged or counterfeit documents after an April 24 incident on Route 286.

Marlene A. Perez, 59, of Penn Hills was charged with altered, forged or counterfeit documents; prohibition on expenditures for emission inspection; registration and certificate of title required; required financial responsibility; tire equipment; operating a vehicle without official certificate; and fraudulent use of plates after an April 27 incident on Center Road.

Harassment

Nicole Marie Petro, 33, of Plum was charged with simple assault and harassment after an April 28 incident on Ligonier Lane.

Burglary

A Sardis Road resident reported a burglary on May 1. A safe containing money and Oxycodone pills was stolen.

A Kellywood Manor resident reported his TV was stolen on May 1.

A New Texas Road resident reported her home had been burglarized on April 28. Forced entry was made through the back door.
