Woman Charged With DUI After Driving Into Swampy Area in Plum

A Penn Hills woman is accused of driving under the influence after driving into a swampy area along Lee Ann Court in Plum.

Plum police have charged Angela Marie Signori, 31, with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, careless driving and trespass by motor vehicle.

According to the police report, a Lee Ann Drive resident reported that a motorist had driven into a swampy area behind their home on April 21. When police arrived, Signori's vehicle was stuck about 100 yards from the road, and witnesses said she was passed out behind the wheel.

Burglary

A burglary was reported at an Elwood Avenue apartment on May 4. A television was reported stolen.

Theft

Three solarpowered landscape lights were reported stolen from the front yard of a Pikeview Drive home on May 5.

On May 3, change and petty cash from the were reported stolen from a car on Plum Street. According to the police report, the car was not locked, but the glove box where the money was stored had been secured.
