Woman Hit By Car in Oakmont

A woman has been seriously injured after being hit by a car in Oakmont earlier this week.

According to Oakmont police Chief David DiSanti, police were called to Fifth Street and Hulton Road on Monday, July 22, after reports that a woman had been hit by a car.

DiSanti said the pedestrian was crossing the street when she was hit by a motorist, a juvenile. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital where she underwent surgery. Police did not release the name of the victim or the driver.

DiSanti said police continue to investigate the accident. No charges had been filed as of Thursday afternoon.
