Incumbent, Council Veteran and Political Newcomer Win Plum Council Seats

Newcomer John Anderson, incumbent Steven "Skip" Taylor and 25-year council veteran Donald Knopfel will be councilmen next year.

Two Democrats and a Republican have won four-year terms on Plum Council.

During the Nov. 8 general election, Democrats Steven "Skip" Taylor and Donald Knopfel, as well as Republican John Anderson beat three others for seats on council.

With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Anderson led with the most votes—2,542. Taylor received 2,480 votes and Knopfel received 2,474.

Other candidates were Democrat Lori Churilla (2,471), Republican Paul DeSabato (2,392) and Republican Christopher Kozub (2,201).

All results are unofficial until confirmed by the county election bureau.
