Nominating Petitions for April 24 Primary Available Jan. 17

Candidates for county Republican committee offices, candidates for state/federal offices must file by Feb. 14.

Nominating petitions for local Republican County Committee offices will be available on Tuesday, Jan. 17, and can be obtained by visiting the Allegheny County Elections Division in Room 601 of the County Office Building located at 542 Forbes Ave. in downtown Pittsburgh between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Candidates for the offices of president of the United States, U.S. senator, U.S. representative, state attorney general, state auditor general, state treasurer, state senator (odd-numbered districts only) and state representative, as well as delegate and alternate delegate to the national party conventions, can obtain nominating petitions by contacting the Commonwealth’s Bureau of Commissions, Elections & Legislation at 717-787-5280 or www.dos.state.pa.us/bcel.

All candidates are reminded that the first day to circulate nominating petitions is Tuesday, Jan. 24, and the last day to file nominating petitions is Tuesday, Feb. 14.
