State Rep. Tony DeLuca to Host Oct. 6 Senior Fair

The event will be held at the Penn Hills YMCA.

State Rep. Tony DeLuca is inviting all senior citizens of the 32nd Legislative District to the 2011 Senior Fair.

The district includes portions of Plum and Verona.

The free event takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Penn Hills YMCA, 11817 Frankstown Road.

 More than 30 program and organization representatives will be on hand to answer questions. Local, state and federal agencies will offer information on health, insurance, retirement, housing and transportation.

DeLuca said free flu shots will be provided to those with a Medicare insurance card.

"I always enjoy meeting face-to-face with those I represent in Harrisburg," said DeLuca, D-Allegheny. "This annual gathering allows older residents to find valuable information about a variety of issues in one location. I look forward to seeing everyone at the senior fair."
