Riverview's Full-Day Kindergarten Registration Begins This Month
Registration for Verner and Tenth Street elementary schools begins Feb. 27 and ends March 30.
Riverview School District registration for full-day kindergarten begins this month.
Beginning Feb. 27, parents can register their children to attend Verner Elementary in Verona or in Oakmont. Registration will occur from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the respective schools.
There will be a registration deadline of March 30 because district officials need to know how many children are registering for kindergarten in order to make important budget decisions.
Children will be eligible for kindergarten if they are 5 years old before Sept. 1, 2012. Parents are asked to bring a child's birth certificate, immunization records and proof or residency.
Tenth Street Elementary School is located at 901 Pennsylvania Ave. in Oakmont.
Verner Elementary School is located at 700 First St. in Verona.
