George Pivik Elementary Dedication, Open House Set for August

The new elementary school in Plum will officially open its doors to students and the community in August.

Construction at the new George Pivik Elementary School in Plum is ongoing, but students got a sneak peek at the facility earlier this month—the school officially will open in August.

The Plum School Board announced that a dedication ceremony for the new school will be held Monday, Aug. 20, at 6 p.m. Open houses complete with tours then will be held Aug. 21 for students and parents, and Aug. 22 for the community.

Officials said the dedication ceremony will be a simple, low-key affair. More details about the ceremony and the follow tours will be available next month.
