New Riverview Business Manager Appointed

The Riverview School District has a new business manager.

The school board has appointed Tammy Tuccarello to the position, and she will officially begin on Aug. 19. Tuccarello, who was selected from a well-experienced pool of more than 21 applicants, has worked for the United and Jeanette school districts. She has more than 13 years of experience.

Tuccarello  also holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Seton Hill University. She already has  started visiting with central office staff in an effort to provide a smooth transition into the position.

Tuccarello is replacing Frank Thompson, who is retiring after 15 years with the school district.
