PBSD to Experience Phone, Email Outage This Week

Anyone who wants to contact someone at the Plum Borough School District this week might have some trouble getting through.

The district technology department will be updating major portions of the IT infrastructure, which will cause major disruptions in the telephone and email capabilities of the district, according to the school district website.

Upgrades will begin Monday morning, and all telephone and email service to the district will stop. District employees will not be able to make or receive telephone calls and will have no access to email. The upgrades will continue through the week.

Telephone and email service is expected to be completely restored by 7 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1.
