PHS Rip Dub: 'I'm a Pens Fan and I Know It'
This year, Plum High School students choreographed, sang and filmed their annual Penguins lip dub—only this year, it's a rip dub.
Plum High School students are supporting the Pittsburgh Penguins with their fourth-annual lip dub—only this year, it's a rip dub.
A lip dub is a one-take video that shows students supporting the Pens in the hallways, classrooms and throughout the school. This year, students not only choreographed and filmed the sequence, they also sang.
Students ripped LMFAO's "I'm Sexy and I Know It" and "Party Rock Anthem," recording their own versions—"I'm a Pens Fan and I Know It" and "Penguins Rock Anthem." Television production students rewrote the lyrics. The band A Lovely Crisis and five National Honor Society students sang the songs.
