Plum Alum Chosen for University Acting Troupe

Plum resident Jonathan Andrew was selected to be a member of Harding University's children's theatre troupe Pied Pipers for the 2012-13 school year.

Andrew, a freshman communication sciences and disorders major, will perform for children in Arkansas (where Harding University is located), surrounding states and Europe.

The Pied Pipers seek to expand children's imaginations with performances that incorporate audience participation and do not require a stage, a sound system or props. The Pipers wear brightly colored jumpsuits as they perform various works of children's literature ranging from Mother Goose to Aesop to Shel Silverstein.

At Plum High School, Andrew performed in musicals and was nominated for local Gene Kelly Awards.
