Riverview School Board Notebook: April

A round up of items discussed at Riverview School Board's April meeting.

Dr. Dana Brown and Dr. Barbara Kevish from Renaissance Family Medical Practices have signed on as Riverview's physicians.

Riverview School Board approved their contracted service at Monday's meeting.

The board also approved Dr. Richard DeFilippo as the school district's dentist, effective immediately.

DeFilippo previously filled in for Dr. George Paustenbauch.

 

Security System

The district recently installed a new security system from Vern Electric for $25,596. The school's technology department has given it the thumbs up with one adjustment on a security camera left to be resolved, Superintendent Chuck Erdeljac said.

  • The board approved a one-year contract for longtime athletic director Bob Kariotis.
  • Teachers Joe Dalsass, Judy Mahler and Sharon Rukavina announced their retirements and resignations.
  • The board will meet again for a study session on Monday, May 9 at 7 p.m.. The student life committee will meet Monday, May 2 at 7 p.m.
