RSD 2012 Transportation Schedule

School starts this week, so know when your child has to be at the bus stop.

It's back to school on Thursday, Aug. 23, for students in the Riverview School District. Here's a look at the bus schedule:

Riverview Student Transportation

Transportation to the senior high school for seventh- through twelfth-graders living in Verona— all riders should board at the stop nearest their home:

  • Verner School No. 1 leaves at 7:15 a.m.
  • South at Second No. 2 leaves at 7:15 a.m.
  • Grant at West Railroad Avenue No. 3 leaves at 7:15 a.m.
  • An overflow bus will pick up at 7:20 a.m. at Verner Elementary; and South and Second Avenue for any student who missed the bus.

All return trips will leave the high school at 2:20 p.m. There will be a “10th period” bus Monday through Friday for students who stay after school. It departs from the high school at 2:55.

Oakland Schools

  • Allegheny River Boulevard at California Avenue in Oakmont at 6:50 a.m.
  • Allegheny River Boulevard at Pennsylvania Avenue in Oakmont 6:50 a.m.
  • Tenth Street School in Oakmont at 6:50 a.m.

Shadyside Academy

  • Allegheny River Boulevard at Center Avenue in Verona at 7:30 a.m.
  • Tenth Street School in Oakmont at 7:35 a.m.
  • Wade Lane in Oakmont at 7:40 a.m.
