St. John the Baptist School to Celebrate Catholic Schools Week

Catholic Schools Week begins today, Jan. 29.

in Plum will celebrate Catholic Schools Week begining today through Feb. 4, with special activities celebrating the national theme: “Catholic Schools: Faith, Academics, Service."

St. John the Baptist School will spearhead the local celebration, emphasizing the high quality of Catholic schools and the value they provide for their students and the community.

Many of the activities for the week center around the national theme. Activities planned for the week include an Opening Liturgy at 11 a.m. followed by until 2 p.m. today, Jan. 29.

The school's annual book fair will begin during the open house and continue throughout the week. There will be various programs for the students on Monday and Tuesday. Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday and Thursday. All students will be dismissed at 11:30 on Friday.

St. John the Baptist School currently enrolls 193 students in kindgergarten through eighth grade.
