Allegheny County Ballfield Applications Available

Baseball, soccer and softball league can apply at regional park offices.

Applications for ballfield permits from organized baseball, soccer and softball leagues are being accepted from Wednesday, Feb. 1, through Wednesday, Feb. 15 at Allegheny County Parks Department's regional parks.

Applications must be filed in person by team representatives at the park offices where the requested fields are located—there are four ballfields and four soccer fields at Boyce Park in Plum/Monroeville. A certificate of insurance is required with an application for a league permit.

Individuals interested in scheduling picnic games may choose from the remaining dates beginning on Thursday, March 1. Applications for these games must also be filed in person at the park offices where the requested fields are located.

Acceptance of an application does not guarantee that a permit will be issued for the date requested. All required fees must be paid in full at the time a permit is issued.
