Boyce Park Accepting Ballfield Permit Applications

Boyce Park began accepting league and picnic game applications on Wednesday.

The Allegheny County Parks Department will accept applications for ballfield permits from organized baseball, softball and soccer leagues at Boyce Park in Plum Borough through Wednesday, Feb. 13.

Applications must be filed in person by team representatives at the park offices, 675 Old Frankstown Rd. A certificate of insurance is required with an application for a league permit. Applications for fields at other county parks must be filed at those park offices.

Individuals interested in scheduling picnic games may choose from the remaining dates beginning on Thursday, March 7, when the general release of open ballfield dates will begin. Applications for these games must also be filed in person at the park offices where the requested fields are located.
