Franco Harris to Introduce 'Immaculate Reception' Anniversary T-Shirt at Waterworks Giant Eagle

The former Pittsburgh Steelers player will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Immaculate Reception play on Saturday.

The Waterworks Giant Eagle and former Pittsburgh Steelers player are teaming up to introduce a new T-shirt commemorating the Immaculate Reception's 40th anniversary.

Harris will visit the nearby Giant Eagle, which is located at the Waterworks Mall along Freeport Road in Fox Chapel, on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

The Immaculate Reception is the nickname given to one of the most famous plays in the history of American football. It occurred in the AFC divisional playoff game between the Steelers and the Oakland Raiders at Three Rivers Stadium on December 23, 1972.

Giant Eagle will be selling commemorative 40th anniversary T-shirts at stores throughout Western Pennsylvania.
